Precision support for primes who cannot miss.
A veteran-led small business focused on software development and information technology for federal, state, and local work.
Your subcontracting plan has a number on it. We help you meet it.
If your contract carries FAR 52.219-9, you negotiated small business subcontracting goals — and you are measured against them.
The SDVOSB goal rose
The government-wide goal for awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses rose from 3% to 5%, covering subcontracting as well as prime awards. Most primes now need qualified partners in more lanes than they did two years ago.
Missing it is costly
Failure to make good faith efforts toward a subcontracting plan can expose a prime to liquidated damages, and a weak socioeconomic record follows you into past performance on the next competition.
Ready when certification arrives
Our SBA VetCert application is in process. Until approval, work placed with us will not count toward your SDVOSB goal — and we will not imply otherwise. Teaming now builds the relationship, pricing, and delivery record so that the day certification lands, we are ready to run.
Straightforward to engage
Active SAM.gov registration with UEI on file, clear teaming agreements and NDAs, and a single point of accountability. The file your contracting office expects is already in order.
Software and technology, first.
Custom software and IT services are the center of our work. Sized for task orders, surge support, and discrete scopes under a prime.
Software Development
Custom applications and automation built for government workflows — from internal tools to modernization of legacy systems.
- Custom web & internal applications

Information Technology

Additional support offerings
When a scope calls for more than software and IT, we can support the following under the same accountable partner.
Construction & Facilities
Renovation, repair, build-outs, and facility support for government buildings and installations.
Printing & Apparel
Uniform and apparel customization, UV flatbed printing, signage, and recognition items.
Event Support
Planning and on-site logistics for conferences, ceremonies, and official functions.
How we work with primes.
An unfamiliar subcontractor is a risk. Here is how we keep delivery and documentation simple.
Veteran leadership
Founded and led by a service-disabled veteran. We run projects the way missions are run: clear chain of responsibility, defined success criteria, and no surprises at delivery.
Clean flow-downs
Active SAM registration, FAR-aligned processes, and clean documentation from the start — so the clauses you flow down come back satisfied, on time. We tell you exactly where every credential stands, including those still in process.
Capacity on a schedule
Our team and vetted partners bring depth in software delivery and IT operations — with additional capacity in facilities, print, and events when a scope requires it — sized to absorb task orders without renegotiating your baseline.
A decision-maker
Quotes in days, not weeks; one accountable contact from kickoff to closeout; and an early heads-up when something needs to change — not a surprise at the milestone review.
Know who you are working with.
Government buyers research the people behind a company. Here we are.
Joseph B. Nguyen
Service-disabled veteran with thirty years in the federal government space — as a service member, contractor, and civilian. His background includes contract monitoring and evaluation, full datacenter deployments, and software development across agency environments. He leads FedM8’s strategy, operations, and every delivery commitment.
Darren Cummings
Co-founder leading business development and partner relationships, and supporting delivery across the company’s mission areas.

A note on certifications
FedM8 is majority-owned and controlled by a service-disabled veteran. Our SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) application is in process; we will compete for SDVOSB set-asides only once certification is approved, and this page will be updated the day it is.
We publish credential status transparently because that is how we intend to run every contract.
Capability StatementFedM8 Scan — SAM.gov opportunity search
A signed-in search of live SAM.gov opportunities by NAICS and set-aside, plus Award Intel for Pro accounts. Built and operated by FedM8 for contractors who need the feed without inventing counts for a marketing page.
Get Certified is a free checklist for veterans covering EIN, SAM.gov registration, and SDVOSB VetCert — with links to the government programs that actually run those steps. It stores no personal documents.
